Streaming on Spotify of the Pokémon Theme tune (Gotta Catch ‘Em All) has increased by 362% worldwide since the release of Pokémon Go, while the overall streams of all Pokémon songs have more than tripled.

Spotify has announced that there are currently 197,000 Pokémon themed playlists created by their users, as well as 53,000 that have been named after “Pikachu”.

Pokémon Go has got crazy popular, everyone seeming to be playing it, and with its release delayed in the UK it can only get more popular.

Here’s the list of the top five most streamed Pokémon songs on Spotify:

  1. Pokémon Theme.
  2. Pokérap.
  3. Pokémon Johto
  4. GO Pokémon GO
  5. I Want to Be a Hero

For all you Pokéfans, why not try setting up a Pokémon playlist with Find what You Like’s free music playlists.
